PROGRAM · SLUSHMAKES · approx. 5 glasses

Ingredients

approx. 1.4 L
Adjust amount
  • 16 g matcha powder
  • 200 ml hot water for mixing
  • 600 ml milk (or oat milk)
  • 400 ml chilled green tea
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. 1Stir or whisk the matcha powder with the hot water until lump-free and you have a smooth, frothy paste.
  2. 2Dissolve the sugar and the pinch of salt in the still-warm matcha.
  3. 3Stir in the milk and the chilled green tea until you have an even mixture.
  4. 4Pour the mixture into the machine and start the slush mode.
  5. 5Add the separately cooked tapioca pearls, lukewarm, to the tall glasses, pour the slush on top and garnish with mint.
Tip

Cook the tapioca pearls separately and only add them to the glass when serving - they must not go through the machine. Whisk the matcha with a little hot water until lump-free, then let it cool.
