Ingredients

1400 ml
- 600 g fresh strawberries (puréed)
- 130 g sugar
- 650 ml water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Preparation
- 1Blend the fresh strawberries until smooth and pass through a sieve if you like.
- 2Stir the strawberry purée with the sugar, water and lemon juice until the sugar has dissolved.
- 3Pour the mixture into the machine and start the slush mode.
- 4Let it freeze until a coarse, crystalline granita texture forms.
- 5Fill into tall glasses and garnish with a fresh strawberry.

Tip
Use fully ripe, aromatic strawberries. Dissolve the sugar in warm water first and only stir in the purée once it's cold, so the fresh colour stays intact.
Variation
Mix in half raspberries for a fruity Fragola-Lampone.
