PROGRAM · SLUSHMAKES · approx. 5 glasses
Ingredients
approx. 1.4 LAdjust amount
- 700 ml strong espresso (cooled)
- 400 ml almond milk
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp almond syrup
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
- 1Stir the sugar and the pinch of salt into the cooled espresso until dissolved.
- 2Add the almond milk and almond syrup and stir into an even mixture.
- 3Pour the mixture into the machine and start the slush mode; the coarse crystalline granita texture is exactly what you want here.
- 4Pour into tumbler glasses so the signature crystalline texture stays visible, and garnish with a coffee bean.
Tip
Make sure the espresso cools completely, otherwise the granita freezes unevenly.
Variation
Sprinkle with toasted flaked almonds for extra crunch.
