Ingredients
approx. 1.4 LAdjust amount
- 600 ml bourbon
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 6 dashes Angostura bitters
- 300 ml water
- Peel of 1 orange
Preparation
- 1Stir the sugar with the dashes of Angostura bitters and a small part of the water until the sugar has dissolved.
- 2Add the bourbon and the remaining water and stir everything well.
- 3Let the orange peel infuse briefly, then pour the mixture into the machine and start the cocktail mode.
- 4Pour into tumblers and garnish with an orange twist.
Tip
Dissolve the sugar in a little warm water first so it spreads evenly. Express an orange twist over the glass.
Variation
Use a splash of maple syrup instead of sugar.
