Ingredients
approx. 1.4 LAdjust amount
- 500 ml rye whiskey
- 250 ml red vermouth
- 5 dashes Angostura bitters
- 200 ml water
- 1 tbsp sugar
Preparation
- 1Stir the sugar into the water until it has fully dissolved.
- 2Add the rye whiskey, red vermouth and Angostura bitters to the sugar solution and stir well.
- 3Pour the bold mixture into the machine and start the frozen cocktail mode.
- 4Pour into chilled coupe glasses, keeping the cocktail's intense concentration.
- 5Garnish with a cherry and serve.
Tip
A classic as a slush - the Angostura brings that signature spicy note. Drop a cocktail cherry into the glass.
Variation
Make it a Perfect Manhattan with half red and half dry vermouth.
