Ingredients

- 150 ml gin
- 500 ml tonic water
- 60 ml fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp sugar syrup
- 5 juniper berries, lightly crushed
- 400 ml water
Preparation
- 1Let the lightly crushed juniper berries steep briefly in the gin, then strain them out.
- 2Stir the infused gin with the fresh lime juice and sugar syrup until the syrup has dissolved.
- 3Gently stir in the tonic water so it keeps most of its fizz, then pour it into the machine with the crushed ice.
- 4Start the cocktail mode and let it turn into a fine, ice-cold mixture.
- 5Fill into tall, chilled highball glasses and garnish with a lime slice.
Tip
Let the tonic sit for a bit so the fizz doesn't foam over while freezing.
Variation
Add a few cucumber slices for an extra fresh, cool twist.
