Ingredients

approx. 1.4 L
Adjust amount
  • 150 ml gin
  • 500 ml tonic water
  • 60 ml fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp sugar syrup
  • 5 juniper berries, lightly crushed
  • 400 ml water

Preparation

  1. 1Let the lightly crushed juniper berries steep briefly in the gin, then strain them out.
  2. 2Stir the infused gin with the fresh lime juice and sugar syrup until the syrup has dissolved.
  3. 3Gently stir in the tonic water so it keeps most of its fizz, then pour it into the machine with the crushed ice.
  4. 4Start the cocktail mode and let it turn into a fine, ice-cold mixture.
  5. 5Fill into tall, chilled highball glasses and garnish with a lime slice.
Tip

Let the tonic sit for a bit so the fizz doesn't foam over while freezing.

Variation

Add a few cucumber slices for an extra fresh, cool twist.
